I'm Marge Stamen, and I had surgery. I had bariatric surgery in 2014, January, and after the surgery, I had excess skin on my arms and my thighs that I wanted to get rid of. I had gone for a consult with one doctor, did not click with that doctor, and kind of decided I wasn't going to do anything, and was in the car one day and heard her ad on the radio. And her voice was just so calming, and I said to my husband, "I'm going to make an appointment and see this woman." And I did, and right away I knew when I walked into her office. She is just amazing, very, very calming, plans every step of the procedure with you, and decided it was a go.
And I came in to see her. I had my surgery done at the Darien Surgery Center, and she did my arms, both arms and both legs. And that was in 2016, January of '16. And, you know, all of my follow-up care. I had a minor complication, and I called her on a Sunday. It was actually Super Bowl Sunday. I called her that Sunday morning, and I said, "I'm having a problem. And she said, "Come right in." We met her at the office. And, you know, she had to see me for another week. I had to come in every day, and she took care of me. And it was just an amazing experience.
When I first came in, I met with Leslie. She did the consult, explained everything that would be done, went through the costs and everything. Once we decided it was a go, her staff was amazing. The anesthesiologist, he was excellent. The nurses that took care of me during the procedure in Darien, everybody was really great. And then when I would come in for my follow-up visits, I mean they all recognized me, and they made you feel welcome when you came in. And sometimes I didn't even see the doctor. I would just see them, and they would do whatever they needed to do to check the stitches and things like that. But everybody was always extremely nice and really made me feel at home when I was here.
Thoroughly pleased. And if I could have more work done, I would do it. I'm not just looking to get work done obviously. But I would recommend her. I have recommended her to people. I keep her cards in my wallet. I give them to people. Absolutely, I would come back in a second.
