Will Insurance Cover Rhinoplasty?

If you have been injured or have breathing difficulties that could be resolved through rhinoplasty, your insurance plan will likely contribute to at least a portion of the cost. How Much Downtime Will I Need? How Long Does It Take to Heal?
You will want to take at least a week off of work or school to recover. Most of the swelling subsides after about two months, but you should know that it can take up to a year for the swelling to completely subside.
Will There Be Visible Scars?
It depends on the refinements you need. “Closed rhinoplasty” is an approach in which all incisions are made on the inside of the nose, resulting in scars that won’t be visible to others after you heal. “Open rhinoplasty” means that an incision is created between the nostrils. When you choose an experienced and reputable surgeon, you can expect that the resulting scar will fade considerably and will be virtually unnoticeable to those around you.
